LSRI Co-Director Jim Pellegrino has been selected as a feature speaker for the Distinguished Scholar Colloquium sponsored by the National Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards and Student Testing, or CRESST.
His talk is called Proficiency in Science: Assessment Challenges and Opportunities, and it continues an argument he recently published in Science Magazine: The new standards taking shape across the country present an opportunity for much-needed changes in the teaching, learning and assessment of science across K to 16.
Pellegrino joins CRESST May 22 at UCLA's Graduate School of Education & Information Studies in Los Angeles, Calif.
