Pellegrino elected to National Academy of Education

Jim Pellegrino, Co-Director of the Learning Sciences Research Institute at UIC, has been elected to membership in the National Academy of Education (http://www.naeducation.org/). The Academy consists of up to two hundred U.S. members and up to twenty-five foreign associates who are elected on the basis of outstanding scholarship or outstanding contributions to education. Founded in 1965, the mission of NAEd is to advance the highest quality of education research and its use in policy formation and practice.
