The Learning Sciences Research Institute at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking individuals with research expertise in mathematics and/or science education, assessment, and/or evaluation to fill several Post Doctoral Research Associate positions. These positions are funded through federal and foundation grants.
Responsibilities: Although the responsibilities of the positions vary depending on the work scope of the specific grants, all of the positions involve project management, supervision of research staff, planning and execution of research and evaluation plans and some development of materials. Qualifications: Applicants for a position must have completed the Ph.D. in mathematics or science education, learning sciences, or a related field, and be familiar with research design, methodologies, analytic strategies, and the publication process. Evidence of this in the form of publications or presentations is expected.
Salary and Duration: A 12-month salary with full benefits is provided at nationally competitive levels, dependent on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. A minimum two-year commitment is preferred but we will consider one-year appointments.
